You are correct. I currently pull data from multiple resources but it's very time consuming to write the all code and then make the updates on a regular basis. Plus, it's just plain hard to find the data in a lot of cases, especially for local elections. I definitely plan on adding to the state level information and then, hopefully, one day start adding local information. I already have some local data but it's VERY thin so I've chosen not to spend time on it right now. I've been building this site at night and on weekends so it's taking some time to do the things I would like to do. I do agree with you though. I'm still working on the quality of the data right now and then I hope to start adding to the quantity.
Make sure you have email notifications turned on so you can get updates to major site improvements. Like most people, I hate spam so you don't have to worry about getting junk emails once a week like a lot of other sites send out. Plus, you can always contact me directly if you have any questions.
